Wellness is a concept that aims to see and understand what health is and manifests itself in a sense of well-being and perceived quality of life. Nature, movement, nourishment, recovery, enjoyment, knowledge, and joy symbolize wellness for us at Camp Ripan. As a guest, you have the opportunity to experience all this—if that’s what you want to get out of your trip.

Our expertise in wellness, health, and events is high, and we have the capability to tailor both large and small events and activities for tour operators and companies.

Recovery 

It is important for you as a guest to be able to recover and relax. If you want to treat yourself or your group to something really delightful in a calm environment, we recommend that you book at our Aurora Spa. We can also offer spa treatments.

Groups can reserve the spa and combine it with a conference, lecture, or a yoga session. We can start your day with a yoga session followed by a wellness-inspired lecture while you enjoy a luxurious health breakfast in our spa, and of course, conclude with bathing and sauna.

We have chosen not to exclude nature but rather building it right in, at Aurora Spa you easily move between inside and out, warmth and cold, darkness and light.

Padel

Movement for everyone

We offer a wide range of opportunities for movement both indoors and outdoors. In our padel hall, as a guest, you have free access to our gym and can also book a time for padel if you feel like it. You also have access to personal training, lifestyle advice, massage treatments, and running coaching at our facility.

Nutritious food

All the food served at our place is made from scratch focusing on local ingredients and sustainability. We offer vegetarian and vegan options on our menu and are flexible regarding other dietary habits and allergies—let us know in advance so we can plan an excellent alternative for you. If you, as a tour operator/company, want to organize a health event/health journey with us, we can in most cases adapt to the type of diet you wish for the group. At all our conferences, you as a guest can choose healthier alternatives to the traditional fika.

Close to nature 

Camp Ripan is beautifully located on the outskirts of the town, and you have the forest right around the corner with many fine ski and exercise trails, including the classic Midnight Sun Trail. In winter, you can rent skis, skates, and snowshoes in our shop—the ski tracks start right outside the reception, and all our hotel cabins have their own ski box. Before you head out on your own, please read our Code of Conduct on how to behave in nature to help preserve it for future generations.

Ever heard of forest bathing?  

Forest bathing is about being in nature with open senses. Stays in nature replenish our energy levels. With forest bathing, we get what is called wakeful rest. Research shows that we become more relaxed, achieve better and longer sleep, blood pressure is regulated, heart and blood vessels are promoted, our concentration and memory improve, and we get more energy. Nature is simply the best natural cure for anxiety and depression. On the link next to this, you get tips on how a forest bath can be conducted.

Frida Lind-Oja

Owner of the company. Frida is a skilled runner and skier who loves to challenge herself. Frida has completed everything from 220 kilometers of skiing during the Nordenskiöld Race to securing several podium places over the years in the challenging mountain orienteering race BAMM. In her free time, Frida also runs the company Out and Enjoy. With her, you can book running coaching/ski coaching both for groups and individually.

Jana Stridfeldt Bjuhr 

Our wellness, environmental, and quality coordinator is also a health guide, functional medical therapist, and mindfulness instructor with extensive experience. In addition to working for a sustainable Ripan, she also enjoys giving lectures on everything from exercise, nutrition, sleep to mindfulness, stress, and hormonal health. You can also book a private health consultation with Jana.

Sara Eriksson 

Our sales and booking manager is not only great at fixing all kinds of events and bookings. Sara also has a great interest in health and is an instructor in Body Combat. Sara will help you with everything you need to book a health event with us.

Ulla Lindh 

Massage therapist trained in techniques like the optimum method and lymph massage. She is also a yoga teacher in Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Viryayoga. With her, you can book a treatment and also hire her as an instructor.
