Husky memory

Experience the Arctic mountain wilderness from behind your own dog team. Thanks to our unique location, we can take you on an extended journey through this spectacular landscape, with the mountains as your backdrop and the dogs as your closest companions.

All our dog sledding tours are private, giving you and your group a personal experience. We adapt the day to the conditions and make the most of what makes this particular place so special.

If you would like to get even closer to the dogs, you can also add an hour focused on mindfulness and animal welfare – an opportunity to discover more about the relationship between humans and dogs.

An Arctic Adventure on the Dogs’ Terms

Join us in the Arctic wilderness and experience the mountains from behind your own dog team. We travel through snow-covered landscapes, across frozen marshes and along winding rivers, with the mighty Kebnekaise rising in the distance. When the weather, snow conditions and the dogs’ well-being allow, we head up onto the mountain plateau, above the tree line, where vast open spaces reveal the mountain landscape at its most beautiful.

Two guests share a sled and take turns driving and riding as a passenger. Each person gets at least 45 minutes at the sled runners, experiencing the connection with the dogs, the rhythm of the journey and the freedom of travelling through the Arctic wilderness.

We leave the noise of everyday life behind and venture into the stillness of nature. Here, you can experience dog sledding up close, get to know your team and discover the special bond that develops between people, dogs and nature.

Caring for the Dogs After the Tour

After the dog sledding tour, we work together to care for the dogs. You will take part in our post-run routines and learn how we help the dogs recover and ensure their well-being.

You will also have the opportunity to try dog massage and discover how touch, observation and attentiveness can help us understand the dogs’ needs and recognise signs of well-being.

Would You Like to Go Deeper?

Add One Hour of Mindfulness and Animal Welfare

If you would like to understand dogs on a deeper level, you can complement your dog sledding adventure with an additional hour of personal guidance with Ylva Forssén.

In our Mindfulness Tipi, we explore how presence, calmness and attentiveness can influence the relationship between humans and animals.

Topics include:

  • How to recognise signs that a dog feels safe and is doing well.
  • How dogs communicate through body language and behaviour.
  • How our own attitude and behaviour can help reduce stress and build trust.
  • What good animal welfare means for working sled dogs.
  • How to apply these insights to your relationship with your own dog.

It is an opportunity to pause, observe and discover how much we can learn when we truly listen to dogs.
