From the winter of 2025, Husky Memory will be offered exclusively to private parties of 1–4 people. This intimate format allows for deeper connection, greater learning, and a premium, personalized experience with our dogs—priced accordingly to reflect the value of this unique opportunity.
Come for the sledding. Leave with a new understanding of dogs—and maybe of yourself.
Do you love dogs—not just petting them, but really understanding them?
Do you want to learn how to become more present, more connected, and more attuned—not just with animals, but with yourself. Then Husky Memory is for you. This is not an ordinary dog sledding tour. It’s a meeting between species, a mindful journey through the Arctic, and an invitation to experience sled dogs in a way few people ever do.
An Arctic Adventure Like No Other
You’ll drive your own dog team across frozen swamps and winding rivers, through ancient, snow-covered forests—always with the majestic Kebnekaise mountain rising in the distance. Two people share each team, taking turns to mush and ride, with around 45 minutes of pure sledding magic each. We travel deep into vast, untouched wilderness where silence reigns and we rarely meet another soul. It’s just you, the dogs, and the rhythm of snow under runners—a truly unforgettable way to connect with nature, yourself, and your team.
Dog massage & recovery care
After the ride, you’ll learn how to give your team a well-deserved massage and explore how small actions can have a big impact on animal well-being.
Gather in our Mindfulness Tipi
Calm presence isn’t just a human luxury—it’s a powerful tool for reducing stress and building trust with animals. In our Mindfulness Tipi, we dive deeper into how mindfulness shapes every part of our work with sled dogs—from raising curious puppies to supporting wise retirees.
Mindfulness Meets Animal Welfare
Why does presence matter to a dog? How can we tell if they truly enjoy the work? What does real animal welfare look like in the sled dog world? We’ll explore these questions together and show you how to recognize the signs of well-being—and how to bring the same calm, respectful connection into your own life with animals.
The Teacher
Ylva Forssén has over 20 years of dog experience, mainly in bird hunting and sled dogs. She is well educated in many disciplines and a dog psychologist. She has a Crossfields Institute level 3 diploma in mindfulness for people with their animals: Trust Technique Practitioner. Using mindfulness in daily training she creates a stress-free environment at the kennel. It can also help you who have problems with your dog to build a new relationship and trouble-free everyday life.
