Join our local Sami guide for a day visit to Nikkaluokta to learn more about the arctic nature, Sami culture and history of the area. On our drive to Nikkaluokta we enjoy the fantastic landscape, with the opportunity to see moose, reindeer and other wild animals, and also make a stop to see Mount Kebnekaise when it is possible to see it.
In summer and autumn we do a light hike, visit Nikkaluokta chapel and have lunch in the Sami-owned restaurant, in winter and spring we visit the guide’s home for a Sami activity and lunch.
After this day tour in Nikkaluokta, you will know more about the daily nowaday life of Sami people, had a great full-day experience, both outdoor and indoor, and hopefully you got to see moose.
