Camp Ripan is an exclusive site close to the ski slope. Kiruna’s city mountain is directly connected to the city, conveniently within walking distance. In Kiruna’s city hill you can experience the mountain in the center of town, great view of Kiruna city and mine. In clear weather you can also see Sweden’s highest mountain Kebnekaise.
The mountain offers 4 pists, one of which is for children, one chair lift taking you all the way to the top as well as a one on the ground connected to the children pist. The highest drop is 156 meters and the longest pist is 620 meters. Luossavaara offers a normal variation and good skiing conditions from the middle of November up until the end of April. The average natural winter snow depth is about 1.5 meters.
