You\u2019ll all ride together in a large sled driven by your guide, gliding quietly through the snow-covered forest, across frozen swamps and rivers. Wrapped in warmth, you can simply sit back and enjoy the silence of nature\u2014with your children by your side and the sound of happy huskies leading the way.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re often told how unusually calm and gentle our dogs are\u2014something we take great care in cultivating through daily mindful work with them. This quiet confidence makes them wonderful companions for children, creating a space where everyone, no matter their age, can feel safe and included.<\/p>\n
After the ride, you\u2019ll help feed the dogs and offer them a gentle massage\u2014something children often love just as much as the dogs do. We\u2019ll show you how to care for the dogs calmly and respectfully, just as we do every day. When the work is done, we gather for a warm drink and a quiet cuddle with one of our friendliest four-legged companions.<\/p>\n
Husky Home is located outside the busy tourist areas with our 40 sled dogs, 3 cats, and 3 children. Out here in the vast, open landscape, we often don\u2019t meet anyone else on the trail. It\u2019s just us, the dogs, and the peaceful beauty of the north.<\/p>\n
