If you want to enjoy the mountains without straying far from Kiruna and Camp Ripan, consider hiking the Midnight Sun Trail!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Midnight Sun Trail is 4.3 kilometers long, starting from Camp Ripan. It takes you up to the summit of Luossavaara and ends at the parking area at the base of the mountain. Along the trail, informative signs share insights about the local nature, flora and fauna, Kiruna’s mining history, the Sami people, and the midnight sun. If you reach the summit of Luossavaara, you’re rewarded with a stunning view of the sunlit mountains and Kiruna city. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture these moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
