This rigour makes Svanen a certification that is hard to earn but easy for consumers and buyers to choose. Choosing Swan-labelled options means actively choosing to reduce environmental impact and support sustainable consumption and production. At Camp Ripan, we’re proud to meet these requirements and offer our guests a stay that is not only comfortable, but sustainable too.

Every year, our environmental and quality coordinator spends a significant part of their working time reviewing and reporting our work to Svanen in order to retain the label for another year. We’re proud to share that we’ve been Swan-labelled continuously since 2015.

Clean as the Swan

All the cleaning products, laundry detergent, and dishwashing liquid used in our daily cleaning are Swan-labelled.

Bed linens and towels are washed at a Swan labelled laundry facility. As a guest, you can help by, for example, keeping the same towels and sheets throughout your stay – it’s better for the environment and our sensitive natural surroundings.

Learn more about the Nordic Swan Ecolabel

Our goal is to continuously work to minimize our environmental impact.
